Mini-Bio |
Marui is a volley specialist and his expertise in the area far exceeds one of the field's best volleyers, Akutagawa Jirou. In fact, he was the one who inspired Jirou's tennis. Although Marui can be relentless with his attacks, he knows when to play defense. Like Atobe Keigo, Marui is very proud of his abilities (he calls himself a genius) and taunts his opponents whenever his techniques score. Marui suffered his first official loss of the year in the National semifinals, but it was later revealed that the loss was deliberate to help Kirihara Akaya grow. Marui likes to chew bubble gums. |
