Mini-Bio |
Inui was dropped from the regulars in April after losses to Echizen Ryoma and Kaidou Kaoru. Afterward, Inui, the brain of Seigaku, became the team manager and assisted Ryuuzaki Sumire in conditioning the regulars. At the same time, he collected data on his former teammates and strengthened his own tennis. In June, Inui regained his spot on the team by ousting Momoshiro Takeshi. Inui was introduced to Data Tennis by his childhood doubles partner, Yanagi Renji, who was also his opponent at the Kantou finals. With Rikkai taking the first two doubles points, Inui's victory over Yanagi put Seigaku back on the map. During the Rikkai rematch, Inui became Kirihara Akaya's bloody target and had to be hospitalized. Although his Data Tennis can dismantle his opponents, Inui's most threatening weapon is actually his serve. At the Nationals, his Waterfall serve clocked at 212 km/h, 10 km/h faster than the old tournament record. In addition to his collection of data, Inui has another obsession: experimentation with his famous juices. |
