Mukahi and Seigaku's Kikumaru Eiji play a very similar style of tennis. Like Kikumaru, not only is Mukahi an expert doubles player, but he also specializes in Acrobatic Play. His expertise in the area is considered to be even better than that of Kikumaru. Unfortunately, his stamina paled in stark comparison and proved to be his downfall in the match against Kikumaru and Momoshiro Takeshi. During Hyoutei's rematch with Seigaku, advisor Sakaki Tarou devised a strategy that would earn Mukahi the victory before he ran out of gas: a short-term battle. It was for this reason that Sakaki paired Mukahi with Hiyoshi Wakashi, who is suited for short matches. Regrettably, as the pair quickly worked their way to match point, they slowly fell into Kaidou Kaoru's trap and it became a drawn-out endurance match. Drained by their reckless pace in the beginning of the match, Mukahi and Hiyoshi were unable to muster up the energy to match their opponents in the remaining games. Mukahi is very much like a kid. He has a petite build, is chirpy, bounces all over the place, and taunting appears to be his pastime. |
