Intro |
Echizen Nanjirou. Tezuka Kunimitsu. Echizen Ryoma. These names will be forever etched in the history of the Seigaku tennis program. During the golden days, the senior Echizen propelled Seigaku to the top of junior high tennis. Tezuka rescued Seigaku from its most recent slump, including multiple consecutive dismissals from the Tokyo Prefectural Tournament. Now, Tezuka prepares to pass the torch to the freshman phenomenon Ryoma. After their stunning upset of 2x National champion Rikkai Dai Fuzoku at the Kantou finals, it surprised no one when Seigaku walked away from the National Tournament with the championship trophy. |
